New year news...
1. we are now on Twitter and posting tweets on an almost daily basis about wacky or unusual happenings in Guru so if you tweet perhaps you might like to check us out...we are also posting these tweets on this website too on the department 'About us'!
2. We now stock Blues CD's by Nugene recording artists Ian Siegal and Matt Schofield. This development came about due to a number of customers trying to buy these CD's when they heard them being played in the shop and the fact that there is no real outlet for the sale of blues music in Darlo.
3. We are working on opening up our basement as 'The Fabulous Flea-pit' where we will sell Bargains. one-offs, treasures, clothes by independant local designers, nearly new and various bits and bobs.
4. We have to report that our amazing Saturday girl of the last few years Kamay Li had now left us to attend Nottingham University and we wish her well and thank her for helping us so much and just know that even 'though she has left we will always remain friends.
5.We are really lucky in being able to announce that following the loss of Kamay we have been lucky enough to welcome her sister Kayeung Li as our lovely new Saturday girl, and we hope she also will stay with us until it is time for her to go on to University...
6. Harley one of the Guru doggies is sporting his festive Guru bandana... (see piccie)!!!
Well that's our news and it looks like 2010 is going to be an exciting year in spite of the recent challenges the changes to the economy has set everyone. All that remains is to wish all of you the happiest of years.
