Larry Garner, Norman Beaker and friends at The Arc in Stockton

Larry Garner is on tour with the Norman Beaker band just now (see dates in an earlier post on this page). We Guru's were lucky enough to see them in Stockton the other night (29/04/2010) and can thoroughly recommend this show...
Larry tells great and very relevant stories to link his songs which are sung and played with the relaxed style which can only come from so many years kicking about the world, seeing lots, and soaking up experiences whilst playing his blues. Larry is not one of those ponderous blues players, far from it in fact. The man is down to earth, philosophical and pleasant as a human being, plus is attractive, gifted and entertaining as an artist, with the exciting presence that denotes greatness. Norman Beaker and his excellent band are with Larry on this European tour and the rapport between them is great to witness and makes for many good laughs in between the amazing music they produce for us...
If you get the chance to see them don't miss it!!!
