Nugene is a very classy blues label, with artists on it who whilst being rightly proud of playing blues music in their own various styles, can undoubtedly appeal to the whole range of people who can appreciate ALL great music rather than be contained in the niche market referred to as blues music as after all when any genre of music touches people's souls that's the blues...

Ian Siegal's 'Swagger' is a great album from this top British blues man...
Ian Siegal's 'Meat and Potatoes' or alternatively 'A bigger plate of Meat and Potatoes' (which includes a DVD) - required listening as both versions of this C D have on them one of the finest soul songs ever written, Ian's composition 'Falling on Down Again' - I bought the one with the DVD even 'though it is a little more expensive, as the DVD has some great festival footage of Ian and his band plus members of Matt Schofield's band).
